Alveley Cricket Club Reopening

You’ll all be glad to hear that as from this coming Friday 10th July, Alveley Cricket Club will once again be open and welcoming its members and guests. We will be making use of our very large beer garden.

We’re a little bit later than some, making sure that all our staff and customers will be safe. In addition Cricket starts this weekend, and we need to make sure that’s safe too.

Friday – Junior cricket training starts

Saturday – First adults game commence with an inter club match

Sunday – Friendly v Old Georgians

Social distancing will apply in all areas and applies to everyone. We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask people to leave.

For a while things are going to be a bit different. Initially we will be opening this weekend; Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

We will be utilising our fantastic outdoor space serving as much as possible The clubhouse will be open to adults only but limited to 30 people who will have to be seated.

Ladies and Gents toilets will be open but access will be from the outside with a one in, one out policy.

Sanitiser will be provided.

Opening Hours

  • Friday 6pm – 9pm
  • Saturday 1pm to 9pm
  • Sunday 1pm – 8pm

New Rules

  • Clubhouse will be open to adults and staff only.
  • Card only where possible please
  • Please bring your own folding chairs/rugs (and a picnic!!) for outside areas
  • Toilets accessed from outside – one in, one out policy
  • Hand sanitiser provided
  • Hourly cleaning of public areas
  • Disposable plastic glasses
  • Social Distancing and interaction as per current Government Guidelines.

We hope that as we all gain confidence we will be able to modify our working arrangements. We believe our proposals will offer a safe place for you to come and enjoy a drink, with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming you to Four Oaks.
